Sanofi Group Internal Auditor - VIE Contract (W/M) in Bridgewater, New Jersey

Program SaVIE (VIE of Sanofi) is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.

PLEASE NOTE that since the VIE Program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

Internal Auditor - VIE Contract (W/M)

Job Details:

Every 7 weeks (usually 4 weeks of preparation in Bridgewater, followed by 3 weeks of fieldwork) you will have to audit a process within one of Sanofi’s business units, in either North or South America, and with a changing team of colleagues. The scope and project will change for each assignment.

During the audit preparation , the internal auditor will become familiar with processes through training, reviewing of Corporate Guidelines and local prcedures, interviewing with global/regional process owners, analyzing data, reviewing usual areas for improvement, and benchmarking against best practices. This person will also become familiar with the business environment, entity performance, and organization in order to identify areas of improvement.

During fieldwork you will have to develop a deep knowledge of the actual local process and identify areas for improvement to better manage the associated risk. This will require asking the relevant questions to several individuals involve in the process, to dig into data, to identify trends and vouching documents to spot inconsistencies and complete the relevant testing strategy.

When you have identified areas for improvement you will have to debrief the process owner, convince her/ him and work with her/ him on how to concretely improve the process.

During all the different phase you will be exchanging with the team leader who will help you developing the most relevant and reliable approach.

Your work will also have to be properly document so that it can be reviewed to ensure reliability and relevancy since one of our value proposition is to provide reliable conclusions.

During audit wrap up, you will have to write your recommendations, straight to the point, short and easy to understand for individual not familiar with the process which will receive the report. You will also have to follow-up on the action plan committed by the audited organization.

Candidate:

  • Education / work experience

  • Fluent English (spoken and written),

  • Higher Education: Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Science at a minimum. Master degree is preferred.

  • Experience in pharmaceutical, healthcare, biotech is preferred, but not required,

  • International exposure and/or experience would be appreciated.

  • Personal skills

  • Ability to team work, with a sense of continuous improvement,

  • Ability to adapt (especially to multicultural environments),

  • Willingness to have an international exposure and travel frequently (around 9 to 15 weeks out of Bridgewater, by block of 3 weeks consecutively),

  • Work ethics and high moral standards,

  • Empathy,

  • Open-minded.
