Sanofi Group Head Commercial Operations US Rare Diseases, Cambridge, MA in Cambridge, Massachusetts

  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight to a relationship-focused, wholly integrated order-to-cash team, comprised of Customer Operations, Trade Operations and Business Operations for US Rare Diseases. Operations include:

  • Inventory management, ordering needs and product inquiries

  • Credit approvals, collections and identification and facilitation of support for reimbursement issues experienced by customers

  • Ensure effective development and implementation of short, medium and long-term strategies for national distribution of rare disease products

  • Deliver US Rare financial commitments through implementation of tools, processes and programs that facilitate and improve revenue flow

  • Provide strategic oversight for DSO optimization and ensuring distributor fees for service are as negotiated

  • Oversee the provision of critical commercial support activities, including:

  • Demand planning aligned with brand specific activities, inventory challenges and distribution channels

  • Specialty pharmacy and payer data reconciliation and invoicing

  • REMS oversight and project management

  • Master data for US and Global Rare Diseases

  • Pricing Committee and SOX compliant practices

  • Ensure the product purchasing experience is easy, predictable and positive

  • Actively represent and advocate for Rare Diseases’ needs on Sanofi-wide initiatives involving customer service, master data, credit and collections, demand planning, global supply chain and trade

  • Lead, manage and develop a team of approximately 40 professionals

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant company, state and federal requirements

Minimum Requirements

  • BS/BA

  • 12+ years’ progressively responsible experience in commercial operations to include order to cash expertise

  • Minimum 8 years’ strong people leadership and management experience

Preferred Requirements

  • MBA or other advanced degree

  • Experience in biologics environment, specifically in rare diseases
